I Finally Did It… I Launched Something That Feels Very Personal
I’ve been sitting on this for a while. Not because I didn’t believe in it, but because putting something like this out there feels a little exposing. You start thinking… what if nobody cares, what if it doesn’t land the way I hope?
But yesterday I shared it on Savvy Snowbirds anyway.
And here we are.
It’s called Celebrate Life with Grace.
This photo of Tank, actually sums up where this all started for me… just slowing down for a minute, noticing the season changing, and realizing how rarely we actually pause long enough to take it in.
And it’s not just a course. It’s something a little quieter than that. A guided journaling workbook for women over 60 who are in that stage of life where things are shifting… sometimes gently, sometimes all at once.
Where This Came From
Lately, I’ve been noticing how many conversations I’ve had with women who are in some kind of transition. Not always big, dramatic changes either. Sometimes it’s much quieter than that. (Seriously…this is one of my favourite things about owning a studio and spa that is predominantly women! Lots and lots of chatter and heart to hearts).
Kids are grown and gone. Relationships change. Retirement is either here or just around the corner… or maybe it doesn’t look the way you thought it would. And then there’s that feeling that something is just a bit ‘off,’ even when everything looks fine on the outside.
And most of us just keep going.
We don’t always stop and ask ourselves how we’re actually doing in the middle of it all. That’s really where this guided journaling workbook for women over 60 came from. Not from a place of having all the answers… but from wanting a place to sort through the questions.
What It’s Actually Like
Before you picture sitting down and writing pages and pages every day… that’s not what this is.
This isn’t homework. There’s no right way to do it, and no pressure to keep up. It’s just simple, thoughtful prompts that help you slow things down and check in with yourself in a way that actually feels manageable.
Some days you might write a lot. Some days it might be a few lines.
Both count.
That’s really the heart of Celebrate Life with Grace. It meets you where you are.
How You Can Be Part of It
I kept this simple, because I didn’t want it to feel overwhelming.
You can download the journal and go through the workbook at your own pace, in your own quiet time., or I can mail you a beautiful coloured copy and if you feel like you’d benefit from a bit of connection, you can join me where we check in together on Zoom.
Nothing heavy. Nothing intimidating. Just a space to pause and reflect… together.
The Part That Made Me Pause
When I shared this on Instagram, I asked people to send me a message if they were interested. I almost didn’t do that. It felt a bit vulnerable putting it out there like that.
But then a few messages started coming in.
Not a flood. Not anything dramatic. Just real people saying, “this sounds like something I need.”
And honestly… that was enough.
If You’re Sitting There Thinking “Maybe…”
You don’t need to be someone who journals all the time. You don’t need to have a big reason.
If you’ve just been feeling a little unsettled, or like you haven’t really checked in with yourself in a while… that’s reason enough.
That’s exactly who this was created for.
That’s It
No big pitch. Just something I created that feels meaningful to me, and I think it might help others too.
If it feels right for you, I’d love to have you join me.
And if not, that’s completely okay too.
Tank Tails
Our boy is loving May. He has seamlessly gone from daily tobogganing to swimming in the creek. Lord help me!
Spring blooms are popping up in our beautiful Fairwood Forest.
PS…I am hoping this finds you all well. I actually published this on Sunday morning but it didn’t load. So I am trying it again. My blog from the last week won’t send either. GAAA!! Technology could be the end of me!!! LOL. Does anyone else feel my pain?
