The end of an era!! Talk about happy/sad.
Most of you know the Corner House was up for sale. We sold it to a lovely couple that I feel is going to be the perfect fit for our neighbourhood and our home
I was going through some photos of our house and thought it would be fun to share my favourite photos and links to some of their stories. In no particular order. 😊
This gothic Halloween decor was so much fun to do. We started our afternoon with the movie A Star is Born. Don’t ask how that related to ‘gothic Halloween’. You can see some more fun pics HERE
HAHA…Lilah’s grumpy little face here. I love the story about our ‘secret garden’. I was always sorry that the cedar trees just kept dying around this small porch area. It is now surrounded with burning bushes which are spectacular in the fall…but we lost the ‘secret’. Check it out HERE
Oh boy…place settings. Apparently I have a SERIOUS dish problem. I couldn’t even scale it down while packing. They are ALL coming with me. THIS is the blog that has the ‘napkin etiquette’ in it and is one of my most read posts. 😊
Ahhhhh….Christmas at the Corner House. Even my kids would comment on how pretty it looked. I just loved hosting parties here! I made a lot of memories that will come with me when I move. I tried so hard to get into MINGLE Magazine. 😂 I guess I just didn’t have what it takes! It was a lot of fun for me to host an outdoor winter themed party. We all had cold toes at the end of it…but the friendships warmed our hearts.
THIS is probably my favourite tablescape that I have ever done. I loved mixing and matching the dishes, so many DIY projects, Brenda’s guest list was so much fun. I would love to do this one all over again.
A lot of firsts in the Corner House. Both girls did their swimming lessons here. Tank learned how to swim too.
Creating summer time fun. When we weren’t building tents inside we were building them outside.
Tank waits for Harry Potter at Platform 9 & 3/4
Our bathroom became a SPA….sigh
the day I had a clean garage. LOL
Can you find Tank? I hope the new owners and their 2 pups enjoy playing out on this front lawn as much as Tank and I did. 💕
This has truly been my favourite of all of our homes. I will miss this sweet little Corner House and all of our neighbours too. We made so many memories here. As I leave behind a tiny piece of my heart I am excited to be moving forward to new adventures. I am excited that the new owners are the perfect fit and hope one day to visit here again.
For more tours of the Corner House click HERE. Lots of DIY, seasonal decor and more. Take care and I hope you continue to follow along.

July 23, 2023 at 4:32 PMYou’ve made such happy memories here Mare. This corner house has a good vibe I’m embedded in it I think as I remember the Gerry’s making wonderful memories as well.
No matter where your journey takes you it will be creative. Have fun.
Cheers
